Overview of Programme

The Career Conversion Programme for Registered Nurses (Degree) [CCP-RN (Degree)] helps and supports mid-career individuals in acquiring relevant training to be  Registered Nurses.

The CCP-RN (Degree) is one of the mid-career conversion programmes under the Healthcare CCP umbrella that is offered by WSG, in conjunction with Ministry of Health (MOH), and supported by MOH Holdings.

Funding will be provided by WSG, MOH and a co-sponsoring organisation for successful candidates to undergo the accelerated 2-year Bachelor of Science (Nursing) at National University of Singapore (NUS).

Job Description and Remuneration

The general role of Nurses include assessing patients’ physical and mental health, perform clinical procedures, helping patients improve or maintain their health and educating patients and their families on health matters. They work alongside a team of professionals to provide safe and smooth delivery of patient care every day. Thus, teamwork, communication skills and attention to details are some of the key qualities that a nurse should possess.

In the public healthcare sector, the monthly starting base salary for a fresh Registered Nurse graduate with degree qualifications starts from $3,650*. CCP-RN (Degree) graduates will be able to draw higher starting salaries of up to $4,440, depending on their years of prior work experience.
