What is it?

The Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) for Quality Professionals is a Place-and-Train programme aimed at individuals seeking career transition opportunities into the areas of Quality Assurance, Quality Control and/or Quality Management.

Successful applicants can look forward to placement and training opportunities in a Quality-related job role.


Who can apply?

Interested candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
  • Possess Higher NITEC / NITEC qualifications, or at least 3 ‘O’ Level passes including English, Mathematics and Science
  • Have not held a similar job role prior to joining the PCP

 


How does it work?

Programme Structure

Upon successful placement at one of the eligible participating PCP companies, enrolled participants will undergo a 24-week training programme on a full-time basis.

Classroom and Online Learning (3 weeks)

Project and On-the-Job Training/Mentoring (21 weeks)

The programme takes on a blended learning approach, combining classroom learning, projects and workplace training together with mentorship.

Four main training scopes will be covered in the programme:

  • Statistical Methods in Quality
  • Quality Control
  • Quality Management Frameworks
  • Technologies in Managing Quality

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will be awarded the Professional Certificate in Quality Management from Republic Polytechnic.
