Professional Services: CCP for Accounting Professionals (Job Redesign Reskilling)
Reskill your competencies to take on new job roles with good longer-term prospects
Accurate as of 04 Oct 2024
What is it?

The Accountancy sector is a key to Singapore’s position as a global business hub and comprises two segments: In-house Finance & Accounting (F&A) Functions and Accounting Practices. According to the Job Transformation Maps (JTMs) for both segments which were launched in early 2022, the accountancy sector will continue to grow and transform in tandem with the embrace of technology. New job roles are emerging, and at the same time, some existing job roles will see high degree of change in job tasks thus requiring job redesign to enable employees to add greater value to the business.

The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Accounting Professionals* aims to facilitate companies in Accounting Practices or with in-house F&A functions to redesign accounting roles in the following functional tracks, and reskill in-service employees for the future of work:

  • Financial Accounting
  • Management Accounting
  • Assurance
  • Tax
  • Corporate Secretarial

Participating companies will develop a 3-month training plan to reskill the nominated employees with the skills required to take on redesigned or new in-demand accounting roles in either in-house F&A functions or Accounting Practices. The training plan will be OJT-centric, covering the core Technical Skills and Competencies (TSCs) validated by the industry and required by the specific functional track.

(* The CCP also supports employers in hiring mid-career individuals for accounting roles. Interested employers may refer to the contact details and contact our Programme Partner for more information.)

Who can apply?
