The CCP for BE Professionals supports 2 modalities:
(1) Place-and-Train (new hires): Reskilling mid-career individuals for their new roles.
(2) Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR): Reskilling existing employees of companies undergoing business transformation, where they need to be reskilled to take on new or redesigned job roles within the same company.
Interested individuals and companies will need to meet the following criteria:
Individuals
General CCP Eligibility Criteria
- Be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident keen to pursue a full-time career as BE Professionals (see Table above);
- Minimum 21 years old;
- Must not be connected to the CCP participating company, shareholder of the CCP company or its related companies; and
- Must not be related to the owners of the CCP participating company.
For Place-and-Train (PnT) Modality
- Graduated or completed National Service for at least 2 years[1] prior to point of application;
- New job role trained under the CCP should be different from the previous job role and requires substantial reskilling for a career conversion;
- Must not be an immediate ex-staff of the applicant company or related entities; and
- Must be a newly hired PMET (i.e., not more than three (3) months from date of employment).
[1] This will be counted from the date of graduation from the latest qualification, or date of completion of national service, whichever is later.
For Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR) Modality
- Employees identified must have completed at least 1 year of service with the company at the point of application.
Employers
All participating companies must fulfil the following criteria:
- Registered or incorporated in Singapore;
- Commit to CCP training arrangements for new hires and / or existing workers that they have identified;
- To offer a minimum salary of $3,200;
- Be committed to work with WSG and its appointed Programme Partner, SCAL, on the necessary administrative matters related to the programme; and
- For JRR applications, companies will be required to submit details of their business transformation and training plans to SCAL for evaluation. The training plan should detail pre and post redesigned job roles. Upon successful application, SCAL will notify and issue a Funding Agreement to your company.
- For PnT applications, SCAL may issue a Funding Agreement to your company.
