What is it?

Under Workforce Singapore’s programmes and initiatives, the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Restaurant Manager (Value Chain Management) is developed to attract new entrants and facilitate mid-career individuals’ switch into the Food Services industry. Through the CCP, participants will receive training support from Eurasia Global Food (S) Pte Ltd to equip jobseekers with necessary skills and competencies in front-of-house service management so that they can embark on a new career with the company.

The 3-month CCP comprises customised structured on-the-job training and facilitated classroom training. Upon completion of the programme, participants can expect to graduate with an Advanced Diploma in Growing & Transforming Enterprises with Holistic Value Chain Management in F&B issued jointly by Singapore Management University Academy and Universal Stage.


Who can apply?

To qualify for the Professional Conversion Programme for Restaurant Manager (Value Chain Management), you have to meet the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Minimally 21 years old
  • Graduated or completed National Service at least 2 years prior at the point of application
  • New hire nominated by Eurasia Global Food (S) Pte Ltd for the CCP
  • New job role should be substantially different from previous job role(s), hence require training for career conversion
  • Must not be a shareholder of the company, or its related companies
  • Must not be immediate ex-staff of the participating company or its related entities
  • Must not be related to the owner(s) of the company

How does it work?

Funding Rates

The employing company will receive the following funding upon the fulfilment of the corresponding requirements:

Salary Support

 

 

Standard Rate

Up to 70% of the trainee’s monthly salary*, capped at $4,000 per trainee per month, for the duration of the programme.

Enhanced Rate

Up to 90% of monthly salary*, capped at $6,000 per month will be applicable for Singapore Citizen (SC) Long-Term-Unemployed (LTU) mid-carer individuals or mature SC mid-career individuals aged 40 and above.

 

*Minimum offering salary of $2,700 onwards
