Logistics: CCP for Supply Chain and Logistics Professionals and Coordinators (New Hires)
Reskill your competencies to take on new job roles with good longer-term prospects
Accurate as of 31 Mar 2024
What is it?

As companies adapt to a post-pandemic world, supply chain and logistics have become an integral part of worldwide commerce. To better support the connections and collaborations between suppliers, manufacturers, logistics businesses, wholesalers, retailers and end customers, new or enhanced/redesigned job roles in the areas of data analysis/management, software development, digitalisation and automation will arise.

The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Supply Chain and Logistics Professionals and Coordinators aims to build a pipeline of workforce with the necessary competencies to take up roles in areas such as Supply Chain Analyst, Sourcing/Procurement Executive/Manager, Warehouse Operations Executive/Manager, Logistics Systems Engineer, Shipping Executive/Manager, Material Handlers, Shipping Assistants and Fleet Controllers in both logistics service providers and non-logistics companies.

Administered by the Supply Chain and Logistics Academy (SCALA), the CCP operates under the following mode:

  • Place-and-Train: Reskill new hires in their new roles to support the business growth.

Under this CCP, participants will undergo 3 or 6 months of structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) at the company. Upon successful completion of the CCP, participants would be equipped with the necessary competencies and skills to take on job roles related to supply chain and logistics functions.
