Workforce Singapore (WSG)’s Overseas Markets Immersion Programme (OMIP) aims to support companies with market expansion and/or business transformation plans, to hire new mid-career individuals or train existing employees with little or no relevant overseas experience in the market for overseas postings. Employees will undergo structured on-the-job and in-market training, to facilitate their transition into the global/regional roles. With a strong team of global-ready employees, companies will be better positioned to expand and compete in overseas markets. OMIP will provide salary support and overseas allowance for the duration of the overseas training.
The programme is tailored to meet the needs of professionals seeking in-market overseas work experience, with salary support and overseas allowance of up to 9 months. Our appointed Programme Partner will work with participating companies to customise training plans, which can comprise a mix of classroom and on-the-job training (OJT) or 100% OJT, depending on the company’s needs.
