Infocomm Technology: PCP for Salesforce Platform Professionals

What is it?

The Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) for Salesforce Platform Professionals is designed to equip mid-career Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) with skills to perform the following five Salesforce job roles:

  1. Salesforce Administrator
  2. Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
  3. Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud Consultant
  4. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant
  5. Salesforce Platform Developer

Administered by SGTech (Programme Manager), the PCP operates under the Place-and-Train mode in which the participating companies will employ the trainees before commencing the PCP. The six-month PCP includes facilitated classroom training by Salesforce (Training Provider) and structured on-the-job training by their employers.

Who can apply?

Individuals

The Programme is open to all company-sponsored applicants who meet the following General Eligibility Criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen (SC) or Permanent Resident (PR);
  • Minimum 21 years old;
  • Graduated or completed National Service, whichever is later, at least two years prior at the point of application;
  • Not in a same job role prior to joining the PCP;
  • New hires should be hired for not more than three months;
  • New hires must not be in the same job role prior to joining the PCP;
  • New hires must not be a shareholder of the PCP company, or its related companies;
  • New hires must not be related to the owner(s) of the PCP company; and
  • New hires must not be immediate ex-staff of PCP company or its related companies.

Course-Specific Entry Criteria:

  • Enrolment for the PCP is subject to employer’s selection based on job requirements and hiring processes that may include screening tests and interviews.

Employers

  • Registered or incorporated in Singapore;
  • Ensure that new hires cannot be:
    • A shareholder of the PCP company, or its related companies;
    • Related to the owner(s) of the PCP company; and
    • Immediate ex-staff of PCP company or its related companies;
  • Offer a full-time PMET position employment contract on permanent terms or on contract terms that are no less than one (1) year;
  • Offer employment directly related to the job which the PCP is for, with remuneration that is aligned to the market rate;
  • Commit to the PCP training arrangements for the trainees; and
  • Be committed to work with WSG and SGTech on the necessary administrative matters related to the PCP.

of up to 70% of the course fee, capped at:-

  1. Salesforce Administrator: S$5,733
  2. Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant: S$7,007
  3. Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud Consultant: S$8,918
  4. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant: S$8,281
  5. Salesforce Platform Developer: S$8,281

whichever is lower (excluding GST).

The trainee must pass all the required modules.

Enhanced Course Fee Grant

of up to 90% of the course fee, capped at:-

  1. Salesforce Administrator: S$7,371
  2. Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant: S$9,009
  3. Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud Consultant: S$11,466
  4. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant: S$10,647
  5. Salesforce Platform Developer: S$10,647

whichever is lower (excluding GST).

The trainee must be either a SC/PR sponsored by a SME1, or a SC aged 40 years old and above.

Salary Subsidy

of up to 70% of monthly salary, capped at S$4,000 per trainee per month, for up to 6 months.

The trainee must complete the entire PCP duration.

Enhanced Salary Subsidy

of up to 90% of monthly salary, capped at S$6,000 per trainee per month, for up to 6 months.

The trainee must be a SC, either aged 40 years old and above, or unemployed and has been actively seeking employment for 6 months or more.
