What is it?

Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Internationalisation Professionals is offered by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) to support companies looking to internationalise and break into overseas markets to reach new customers and access collaboration opportunities to grow their business. While internationalisation is increasingly seen as a critical business strategy for enterprises to grow and expand, venturing overseas comes with many challenges. Apart from understanding compliance and regulations of overseas markets, having qualified locals to operate in overseas markets is also one of the key challenges faced by enterprises. Hence, there is a vital need to build a pool of talent with practical skills who are ready to assist enterprises in their overseas expansion.

Under the CCP for Internationalisation Professionals, newly-hired individuals will undergo a structured training programme by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) to take on their new job role. The training which comprises of facilitated classroom training/ e-learning, mentorship and structured On-the-Job Training, will be conducted over a 9-month period. Coverage of the facilitated classroom training will be customised according to the overseas market that the individual would be handling. Examples of overseas markets include SEA countries, China and Middle East.

Upon successful completion of the CCP, individuals will be equipped with the necessary skills to take on new job roles such as Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Account, Franchise, Product and Supply Chain to assist enterprises in their overseas expansion. Please refer to the infokit for more information on the CCP.
