WSG’s Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Food Professionals and Associates aims to support companies in the food services and food manufacturing (hereinafter referred to as ‘food’) sectors train and reskill existing employees to take on redesigned and enhanced job roles as companies undergo business and/or process transformation, as well as to attract new entrants and facilitate mid-career switchers into the food sectors. Through the programme, our appointed Programme Partners will work with participating companies to customise their training plans, which can comprise a mix of classroom and on-the-job training (OJT) or 100% OJT, depending on the company’s needs.
The CCP for Food Professionals and Associates is part of the holistic support provided to food companies undergoing business and/or process transformation and job redesign. The programme encourages and enables employers to review, optimise and value-add to their PMET and non-PMET jobs such as Data Analyst, Sustainability Specialist, Restaurant Manager, Production Manager, QA QC Manager, R&D Chef, Service Ambassador, Culinary Ambassador, and Production Operator in order to create higher quality jobs to sustain business growth and retain current local employees.
Under the CCP for Food Professionals and Associates, eligible participants will undergo skills conversion. Upon successful completion of the CCP, eligible participants will be equipped with the necessary skills to take on job roles with good career prospect in the food sector.
