The food manufacturing industry is one of the more resilient local industries as it continues to develop, grow, and accelerate its plans to (i) boost productivity and optimise production efficiency through automation and digitalisation; (ii) pursue innovation in healthier and novel product formats with stronger product appeal to meet changing consumer tastes; and (iii) foster stronger partnerships to expand globally through channel development. Building a pipeline of workforce with the relevant skillset would be needed to implement, support, and execute these strategic action plans.
Under the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Food Manufacturing Professional/Associate, you will undergo skills conversion and move into new or emerging roles in areas such as food safety, food innovation, food regulatory, quality assurance and expertise in operating new machinery or system in the Food Manufacturing sector. The training comprises facilitated classroom training and structured On-the-Job Training (OJT), which will be conducted over 3 – 6 months period.
Upon successful completion of the CCP, you will be equipped with the necessary skills to take on new job roles with good career prospect in the food manufacturing sector.
