Built Environment: CCP for Resident Technical Officers (Civil & Structural)
Reskill your competencies to take on new job roles with good longer-term prospects
Accurate as of 17 May 2024
What is it?

The Built Environment sector is constantly evolving, as emerging technologies and developments present opportunities to transform the way we design, build and maintain our infrastructure and buildings.

Local construction demand is expected to remain steady, driven by a robust project pipeline of large-scale public and private residential and infrastructure projects. Demand for skilled professionals in Construction Management is consistently high, particularly for Resident Technical Officers (RTOs), who are qualified site supervisors to ensure that there is adequate and proper supervision of the structural aspects of construction works.

This 4-month CCP can comprise of facilitated training and/or up to 100% structured on-the-job training to help trainees meet RTO accreditation requirements; and is managed by The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) with support from Workforce Singapore (WSG).

*Interested companies can contact IES for more information.
