What is it?

The International Trading CCP seeks to reskill local (Singapore Citizens & Permanent Residents) mid-career switchers and displaced professionals to enable them to embark in a new career within the various middle office functions in the International Trade sector. Examples of some of these jobs include Market Analysts, Trade Facilitation Professionals Supply Chain Professionals, and Product and Packaging Managers.

Who can apply?

To apply, you should:

  • Be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident;
  • Be at least 21 years old;
  • Graduated or completed National Service for at least 2 years;
  • Be newly hired and nominated by an eligible participating company for the CCP; and
  • Not be in a similar job role prior to joining the CCP.

How does it work?

Your company will receive the following funding, provided the corresponding requirements are met:

Course Fee Subsidy

For Singaporeans and PRs:

  • Course fee grant of up to S$12,600 (excluding GST).

For Singaporeans who are 40 years old and above:

  • Course fee grant is up to $13,000 (excluding GST).

Your company provides the course sponsorship to you.

You pass all the required modules.

Salary Support

For Singaporeans and PRs:

  • Your company will receive salary subsidy of up to 70% of your monthly salary, capped at S$4,000 per trainee per month, for 9 months.

For Singaporeans who are aged 40 years and above, or have been actively seeking employment for more than 6 months:

  • Your company will receive a salary subsidy of up to 90% of your monthly salary, capped at S$6,000 per trainee per month, for 9 months.

You are with your sponsor-employer throughout the 9 months programme
